Elite can help! This Carmichael Client was looking to construct a deck next to the above ground pool. Elite used an auger to dig holes for proper footing, poured concrete footings, and allowed it to cure in order to ensure a stable foundation. The crew constructed a deck and stair frame utilizing pressure treated lumber using 4 x 8 lumber for girders and 2 x 8 lumber for joists. Pressure treated lumber was recommended because it will resist the elements better than untreated due to chemical preservatives added, and so it will maintain its integrity in conditions that would cause normal wood to rot. Additionally they installed Pebble Gray Trex Decking, black iron railing, posts, and pool stairs submerged into water.
